PostPilot is the platform most ecommerce teams compare us with, and for good reason: it is a serious product with serious measurement behind it. The question this guide answers is what happens at the edges of what it was built for, when your revenue is below their bar, your customers are outside the US, your storefront is not Shopify, or the audience you want is a neighbourhood rather than a list.
What is Oppizi
Oppizi is the offline marketing platform powered by agentic technology. On the direct mail side that includes addressed mail, EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail), shared mail, USPS Informed Visibility tracking, QR code tracking, lookalike audience modelling, and personalisation at scale, with print-and-ship inside 24 hours through the largest printer network in the USA.
Underneath it is Soleon, Oppizi's proprietary agent infrastructure. Copilot for campaign planning and the Oppizi MCP both run on it, so a marketer can plan, launch, and read results from inside Claude or ChatGPT, not only from a dashboard. Oppizi operates in over 12 countries and can launch in any market, and direct mail is one of three offline channels on the platform.

No platform fee, and no revenue bar to clear
PostPilot publishes a subscription alongside per-piece cost: $99 a month on Growth, $499 on Pro, or $82.50 and $419 billed annually, with Enterprise custom. They also publish who the platform is for. They recommend at least $3M in annual store revenue so segments are large enough, they gate their risk-free trial above $3M, and AcquisitionAI is set at $100+ average order value and $10M+ annual revenue.
That is a coherent way to build a business and it draws a hard line. A brand doing $1.5M that wants to test the mailbox this quarter is below the recommendation on the platform and well below the bar on its prospecting engine. Oppizi charges no monthly fee, sets no revenue minimum, and prices per piece from the first piece. You can run a 5,000-piece test without qualifying for anything.
Where you can mail
PostPilot prints in South Carolina, Arizona and London, and mails in the US and UK. Every other market is a waitlist page inviting you to request your country. The UK service is also narrower than the US one: their own FAQ says UK support currently covers campaigns targeting existing customers, with prospecting planned, and the A5 postcard is the only UK format. Their prospecting data is US consumers.
Oppizi has run campaigns in over 12 countries and can launch in any market, so a brand selling into Australia, France, New Zealand or Canada runs the same playbook on the same platform with the same reporting, instead of running mail in two countries and finding a separate vendor for the rest.
Measurement that does not depend on your storefront
PostPilot measures well. Holdout groups are built into the product, they publish the statistical test behind their significance flag, and their lift reporting is exportable. Give them credit for the rigour, because it is real.
The dependency is the storefront. Their in-app dashboard requires being on Shopify, their holdout measurement runs on live Shopify data, and their iROAS and incremental revenue figures explicitly exclude non-Shopify revenue. If you sell on Shopify and nowhere else, none of that matters. If you sell on BigCommerce, on a custom stack, through retail, or across several of those at once, the headline number thins out exactly where you need it.
On Oppizi a holdout is standard on every campaign and the live dashboard reports incremental lift, response rate and CPA by geography and creative variant, without a platform dependency underneath it.
When the audience is a map, not a list
Both platforms prospect well to individuals. PostPilot builds lookalikes from third-party consumer data and can mail anonymous site visitors. Oppizi builds lookalikes from your best customers with audience intelligence layering first-party and third-party signals, with the data in the per-piece price.
The difference is the campaign that has no list at all. EDDM delivers to every address on a carrier route without names, at approximately $0.45 per piece all-in, which is what a store opening, a service-area launch or a local saturation push actually needs. PostPilot has no EDDM. Their shared mail product is real but narrow: 100k affluent households in Manhattan and Southern California. Outside those two metros, the unaddressed campaign cannot run.
AI that plans and designs, not only targets
PostPilot AI is aimed at audiences and analytics: lookalike prospecting, retention triggers, life-event targeting, benchmarking and recommendations. Their design is explicitly human, and they are proud of it, with a named design team and unlimited creative at Pro.
Oppizi runs Copilot for campaign planning and Creative Studio for creative optimization, which tests format, offer and creative direction against results. Both sit on Soleon, Oppizi's agent infrastructure, so a marketer can plan an audience, launch a campaign and read lift from inside Claude or ChatGPT through the Oppizi MCP with one sign-in. PostPilot publishes an llms.txt for AI assistants to read, and no agent integration to act through.
Direct mail results from leading brands
The numbers tell the story better than claims:
- UberEats: direct mail and flyering across four markets, 2M+ new customers at a 2% conversion rate
- The Iconic: addressed direct mail in Australia, 76,800 new customers, verified with incremental holdout testing
- Getaround: flyering in the US, CPA cut 70% versus digital channels
Each of these is a scaled campaign with tracked outcomes, not a pilot. Oppizi has delivered more than 306 million pieces in over 12 countries, with every campaign attributed through QR codes, unique URLs, and promo codes, so you read your own figure rather than an industry estimate.
Beyond direct mail with package inserts and flyering on one platform
Direct mail is one of three offline channels Oppizi runs. If mail is already working, the same platform, the same targeting, and the same attribution extend into other physical touchpoints.
Package inserts place your offer inside outgoing orders from partner brands, reaching a customer at the moment they open a package. Hand-to-Hand and Door-to-Door flyering puts Brand Ambassadors in high-traffic areas and flyers on residential doors, tracked with the same rigour as mail. PostPilot offers neither.
Make the switch from PostPilot to Oppizi
If you are evaluating PostPilot alternatives, the question is where your brand sits relative to what each platform was built around. Oppizi is a performance marketing platform with no monthly fee, no revenue minimum, over 12 countries, reporting that does not depend on your storefront, EDDM and nationwide shared mail, and agent-native automation on Soleon.
